A homeowner in Oviedo, FL, was greatly concerned with the safety of her home. The back patio had extensive cracking and uneven concrete that was unsightly and dangerous. Gutter downspouts along the outer corners of the patio also were allowing water to drain close to the area, which could have contributed to some of the patio problems.
The owner was ready to address these problems, and she sought help from Florida Foundation Authority after finding information about our company online. Inspector Bill Brown visited to assess the condition of the patio and exterior drainage. Bill then presented the owner with the best repair solutions.
Foreman Joshua Ortiz and his crew installed the unique PolyRenewal System to lift, level and stabilize the concrete. Once injection ports were placed into small holes that were drilled into the sinking concrete, special equipment was used to inject high-density polyurethane foam underneath the concrete. This material expands to fill the voids, allowing for the precise lifting and leveling of the concrete. PolyRenewal is a non-invasive repair solution that is lightweight but durable, and it will not wash out.
The crew also attached pipes to the gutter downspouts, and then placed these pipes in the ground, directing them to drain far away from the structure. The ends of these lines in the yard were concealed with YardWell outlets.
The owner now has peace of mind and a safer home because of these trustworthy repairs.
