After living in their house for a couple of years, homeowners in Orlando, FL, started to notice problems with their exterior drainage system. Some of the above-ground gutter downspouts allowed water to collect close to the house. were above ground, and the owners were concerned other areas were broken or clogged. They didn’t want to have to worry about water draining from the gutter downspouts seeping into the house to cause problems.
After they found information on Home Advisor about Florida Foundation Authority, the owners were motivated to contact us to learn more about how we could help them. Inspector Alex Graves visited to evaluate the condition of the exterior drainage system. Alex then recommended this system be upgraded by one of our crews.
Nathan Meyers led a crew in installing newer, thicker pipe that would be more reliable for the downspout conductor lines. These lines were placed in the ground and directed to drain at the edge of the property. A drainage cap was used to conceal the end of the main line in the yard.
The homeowners are pleased to now have an updated exterior drainage system that will help keep their home dry.
