Album Description
Homeowners in Apopka, FL, have lived in their house since it was built seven years ago. Recently, they began to notice some problems outside their house. The driveway had various areas where the concrete was cracking and uneven.
Concrete commonly settles over time, most likely due to sinking soil underneath. As the soil sinks and leaves a void and lack of support for the concrete, the concrete will then sink, as well. Cracks and significant gaps between slabs are unsightly and result in tripping hazards.
These issues greatly concerned the homeowners, so they began to search for repair options. They were eager to contact Florida Foundation Authority after learning about our company online. One of our inspectors visited to evaluate the condition of the concrete, and he presented the owners with the best repair solution.
Foreman Joshua Ortiz and his crew then lifted, leveled and stabilized the concrete with the PolyRenewal system. They did this by injecting high-density polyurethane foam under the concrete, and applying joint sealant to the cracks and joints to further protect the driveway.
The homeowners are pleased this unique repair solution was used to help create a safer living environment.
