After living in their house for several years, homeowners in Titusville, FL, wanted to renovate their home. As they began preparing for this undertaking, they started to notice many areas of the floor with cracking and uneven concrete.
Before completing other projects around the home, the owners wanted to make sure these problems were taken care of first. As they started to search for repair options, the owners found information about Florida Foundation Authority on Angie’s List. They then contacted us for further guidance, and met with one of our inspectors. Our inspector completed a thorough assessment of the concrete in and around the home, and he recommended the best repair solutions.
Foreman Mike McDonald and his crew lifted and leveled the problematic concrete with PolyRenewal, and protected it with joint sealant. The PolyRenewal repair system involves injecting high-density polyurethane foam under the concrete through very small holes. Once the material expands underneath the concrete, it can lift and level the slabs. The concrete was further protected by joint sealant, which was applied to the cracks and joints.
The homeowners can confidently resume their renovations now that the concrete has been repaired and protected.
