Album Description
A homeowner in Maitland, FL, maintains a house as a rental property. After recently noticing areas of cracking, uneven concrete on the back patio, he wanted to fix these problems to reduce the trip risk and enhance the home’s safety.
During his research, the owner found information about Florida Foundation Authority on Home Advisor and he wanted to contact us for further guidance. One of our inspectors visited to evaluate the condition of the concrete, and he recommended the perfect repair solution.
Foreman Joshua Ortiz and his crew then lifted, leveled and stabilized the problematic concrete with the PolyRenewal System. High-density polyurethane foam was injected underneath the settling areas through very small holes that were drilled into the concrete. This material expands to fill any voids, and this allows for the concrete to be precisely lifted and leveled. The joints and cracks also were filled, sealed and protected by joint sealant.
The owner is pleased this unique repair solution was used to help him create a safer living environment for his tenants.
