A longtime homeowner in Palm Bay, FL, was growing concerned with the safety of some exterior aspects of her property. Several areas of concrete were cracking, settling and uneven, and the above-ground exterior drainage lines also were unsightly tripping hazards that drained water close to the home.
She caught a few of Florida Foundation Authority’s TV ads, which motivated her to address these problems. She met with one of our inspectors who completed a thorough evaluation of the home and the property’s concrete and drainage. Our inspector then presented the owner with the perfect repairs to fix these issues.
Foreman Joshua Ortiz and his crew then installed new downspout conductor lines on the property. Newer, thicker, more reliable pipes were connected to the gutter downspouts, and then placed in the ground for safety and aesthetics. These lines were directed to drain far away from the home and into the yard. The ends of these lines were concealed by YardWell outlets.
They also used the PolyRenewal system to lift, level and stabilize the problematic concrete on the property. This was accomplished by injecting high-density polyurethane foam under the concrete. The material expands and fills any voids, thus lifting the slabs back to level.
The homeowner now has peace of mind knowing these trustworthy repairs have helped her create a safer living environment.
