During the time that she has lived in her house, a longtime homeowner in Casselberry, FL, has noticed some problems beginning to worsen outside her home. She enjoys spending time on her back patio and pool area, but this area had several spots with cracking, sinking, and uneven concrete.
The owner was concerned with the safety and appearance of the concrete, so she began to investigate repair options. After seeing Florida Foundation Authority’s TV ads, she wanted to contact us to learn more about how we could help her. One of our inspectors then met with her and completed a thorough evaluation of the patio and pool deck. Our inspector recommended having one of our crews use the PolyRenewal system to lift, level and stabilize the concrete.
Foreman Mike McDonald and his crew then completed this project to enhance the safety and appearance of the patio and pool deck. They used special equipment to inject high-density polyurethane foam under the concrete through very small holes. This lightweight but durable material expands, fills any voids, and precisely lifts the concrete slabs. Joint sealant also was used on the cracks and joints to further protect the concrete.
The homeowner now has peace of mind knowing this trustworthy solution has helped her create a safer living environment.
